I can’t say I’ll “miss” many thing. But I certainly will remember them from time to time.
Anyone else listen to Adam Young’s new EP yet? Because it’s pretty fantastic.
Imagine you work at a radio station.
Your shift just started, and the game you’re streaming just went on air.
Now imagine everything goes wrong at the same time and both stations fall off the air.
Now imagine nobody is around to help.
Ladies and gentlemen, this was my first 10 minutes of work today.
If every other word you type in a facebook post has a red squiggle under it, pay more attention in English class and delete your facebook. You don’t need to be on the internet.
Is it bad if I have an actual list of people I’m removing off facebook and twitter the day after graduation?
Anonymous asked: are you going to the beatles: the lost concert" movie when it comes out next month?
This is the first I’ve heard of this actually. And my theater probably won’t offer it, like most good things (Star Wars, Titanic, FREAKING STAR WARS). Probably not.
Tick Tock
Tick.
Think about it. Think back. You started high school. You were a freshman. Everything was so new. So different. Tons of people. Older than you. More important than you. Everything going so fast.
Tock.
Sophomore year already. You know some people now. High school isn’t scary. You saw it every day for a year. You see the new freshman. The old upperclassmen. You walk to your classes. New teachers. You get to know them fast. Nothing new. Nothing exciting. Just high school once more.
Tick.
Junior year. Sophomore year went faster then you thought it ever could. You know a good bit of people now. You’ve made some strong friends. Lost some friends. Changed groups. Seen people you’ve known forever get into different crowds. You’re an upperclassmen now. More mature. Some people respect you. Some still don’t. It’s just the course of life. Classes are a bit harder. Loading for your senior year. You take a second to think. Half of high school is already over. But you keep going. New teachers, new classes, but like you’re used to, nothing new. The year goes on. First semester, second semester.
Tock.
Senior year. You made it. End of the primary schooling line. You look at the rest of the school. The kids you still think of as freshman. All of them. From the juniors to the freshman themselves. They’re all still freshman to you. Underneath you. Eager. Ready to be you. And you’re almost done. Graduation is a few months away. Easy classes. Senioritis. The year starts coasting by. Boom. First semester is over. Classes shift, but nothing entirely new. You just get used to everything when suddenly.
Tick.
Graduation is a month away.
Tock.
College starts in 4 months.
Tick.
You’re about to move away.
Tock.
Everything is about to change.
Tick.
Graduation.
